Complete a short online application covering your professional or educational background. It should take around 2 to 5 minutes. You won't need to write a personal statement or complete a lengthy admissions form.
Check your eligibility.
If your background clearly meets the entry requirements, you'll be able to proceed directly to enrolment. If we're unable to determine eligibility from the information provided, our team may ask for some additional information or supporting documentation.

Once eligible, complete your enrolment and payment to secure your place. You'll then receive access to your McKellar learning environment and the information you need to begin your White Belt.
Less than you might expect.
Have your ID ready. You'll need to provide a copy of your national ID — a passport, driver's licence or similar — during the application.
If the information you provide is sufficient to establish your eligibility, you can proceed by only providing your ID.

You don't need to prepare for McKellar by taking another AI course first. White Belt establishes the common foundation for every learner.
You'll refresh important concepts and developments within your professional field while building an understanding of AI fundamentals and beginning to connect the two. From there, capability develops progressively:
You still start at White.
That's deliberate. McKellar belts don't simply represent general AI knowledge. They represent progression through a profession-specific certification pathway.
Previous experience may make some of the foundations familiar, but every learner progresses through the same McKellar sequence.
No skipped belts. One progressive standard.
Then your capability takes you forward.
You don't submit another application every time you're ready for the next belt. Once you're accepted into your chosen McKellar pathway, progression is based on successfully completing each level.
