McKellar Institute serves professionals across a wide range of countries and economic environments. A single worldwide fee would make the same certification significantly less accessible to learners in some markets than others. To keep our certifications genuinely accessible while holding every learner to one consistent standard worldwide, McKellar prices applications using three international fee categories.

The three fee categories

• Standard Fee — applies to learners holding the nationality of higher-income countries and territories.
• Global Fee — applies to learners holding the nationality of middle-income countries and territories.
• Global Access Fee — our most accessible tier, for learners holding the nationality of lower-income countries and territories, reflecting the lower relative cost of living and purchasing power in these markets.

Category assignment is informed by published World Bank country income classifications, which McKellar reviews and updates from time to time. All three categories lead to the identical certification, curriculum, and belt progression — your fee category has no bearing on the standard you are assessed against or the credential you earn.

How your category is determined

Your fee category is based on the nationality you select when registering, or on the nationality selector shown across this website. Fees for every belt and pathway plan are shown against your selected nationality throughout the site and at checkout, before you pay anything.

If you hold more than one nationality

You may select whichever nationality most accurately reflects your circumstances. McKellar may ask you to provide supporting identity documentation to confirm your selected nationality where reasonably required.

Fees are fixed at registration

The fee category applied to your application is the one in effect for your selected nationality at the time you register. McKellar may review and update fee amounts or category assignments from time to time; any changes apply only to new applications, never retroactively to an application you have already submitted.
